SM Entertainment‘s new groups EXO-K and EXO-M have officially released “MAMA“, the title track off of their first mini-album, ‘MAMA’.
The Korean and Chinese versions of “MAMA”, recorded by EXO-K and EXO-M respectively, were officially released through popular Korean music sites, Chinese music sites such as Sina Music, and iTunes.
The track was composed by Yoo Young Jin, and utilizes the grand sounds of Gregorian chants and a full orchestra to add to EXO-K and EXO-M’s aura of mystery. The dance break, which features the sharp sound of synths, a guitar riff, and powerful shouting, is especially impressive.
The lyrics of the song are said to express the conflict people feel nowadays between living in reality and in the digital world, sadness at the absence of communication, and a desire to rediscover pure love.

SM’s new groups, EXO-K and EXO-M, finally unveiled each team’s members.
EXO-K and EXO-M will make a debut on the same day and time with the same song in Korea and China. EXO-K is comprised of SU HO, KAI, CHAN YEOL, SE HUN, BAEK HYUN and D.O. and EXO-M is made of KRIS, LU HAN, TAO, LAY, XIU MIN and CHEN.

This rare species ONLY grows in the crevices of the limestone cliffs along the river, and was also named after the river in its botanical classification.
The pasque flower, or 'Hal-me-kot in Korean means 'grandmother flower' for its grey and feathery hair.
[Interview : Min Kyung-Ui, Photographer] "Most pasque flowers face downward but the Dong River pasque flowers stand straight up, facing the sun. The yellow and red mix beautifully inside the petals, and it's a great pleasure looking at them through the camera lens."
The Dong River pasque flowers, which bloom from late March to early April, almost became extinct due to excessive visitors in the 90s.
But residents of the Yeongwol and Jeongseon districts planted the flower on the cliffs to protect the habitat.
The flower, now a major tourist attraction for the towns, was also selected as the flower of this month by the National Arboretum.

본문 :강원도 영월과 정선 지역의 석회암지대 바위 틈에서 자라는 여러해살이풀이다.
뿌리는 굵고 흑갈색이며, 윗부분에서 잎이 무더기로 나와서 비스듬히 퍼진다. 잎은 모두 뿌리에서 나오고 잎자루가 길다. 3~7개의 작은잎으로 구성된 깃꼴겹잎이다. 전체에 흰 털이 빽빽이 나서 흰빛이 돌지만, 표면은 짙은 녹색이고 털이 없다.
꽃은 4월에 피고 꽃줄기 끝에서 위를 향해 1개씩 달리며, 자주색, 홍자색, 분홍색, 흰색 등으로 핀다.
꽃줄기는 중앙부에서 나오고 길이 15∼20cm이다. 작은포는 꽃대 밑에 달려서 3개로 갈라지고 다시 잘게 갈라지며, 겉에 흰 털이 빽빽이 난다. 화피갈래조각은 6개이고 긴 타원형이며, 길이 3.5cm, 나비 1.2cm이다. 겉에 털이 있으나 안쪽에는 없다. 열매는 수과로서 긴 달걀 모양이며 끝에 4cm 내외의 암술대가 남아 있다. 흰 털로 덮인 열매의 덩어리가 할머니의 흰머리 같기 때문에 할미꽃이라는 이름이 붙었다. 특이하게도 꽃이 땅을 보지 않고, 하늘을 보고 피는 것이 일반 할미꽃과 다른 점이다. 유독식물이지만 뿌리를 이질 등의 지사제로 사용하고, 민간에서는 학질과 신경통에 쓴다. 백두옹(白頭翁), 또는 노고초(老姑草)라고도 부른다. 세계에서 오직 우리나라에만 분포하는 한국특산식물이기 때문에 철저히 보호해야 할 식물이다.
