 A son will do almost anything to avenge his father’s death. “Shark” is a 2013 South Korean revenge drama about a man who goes after a powerful family responsible for killing his father. The drama series is directed by Park Chan Hong and is the third installment in the revenge trilogy by Park Chan Hong and writer Kim Ji Woo after “Resurrection” (2005) and “Devil” (2007). In the drama, Han Yi Soo (Kim Nam Gil) saw his father killed by the powerful family that owns the Gaya Hotel Group. When he also is targeted, Yi Soo takes extreme measures to “disappear” and change his identity. He then methodically plots his revenge against the family. But will he be able to carry out his plan when he falls in love with Jo Hae Woo (Son Ye Jin), the daughter of the hotel family?

Drama series follows the turbulent life of Jang Ok-Jung, who is also known as Lady Jang Hui-Bin one of the most famous royal concubines in the Joseon Dynasty. She began her career as a court lady who stitched clothing as a fashion designer of her time.

1. "Jang Ok-Jung, Live for Love" takes over the SBS Monday & Tuesday 21:55 time slot previously occupied by "King of Ambition" and will be replaced by "Golden Empire" July, 2013.
2. Based on the novel "Jang Ok-Jung, Live for Love" by Choi Jung-Mi (published December 5, 2008 by Eureka M&B).
3. Filming began in early March, 2013 at the Hwaseong Haenggung Palace in Suwon, South Korea. First scene filmed involved actor Chae Sang-Woo as King Sookjong, jumping over a wall and out of the royal palace.

Lee Min Ho was recently cast in the upcoming Korean, historical drama “Faith,” with this been the young actors first time starring in a historical drama.

Faith will begin airing in August on Wednesdays and Thursdays. Lee Min Ho’s character is Admiral Choi Young who later becomes a general.
Faith is about a Goryeo Dynasty warrior who meets a female doctor in the modern era and together they help make a king who will heal his people and really care about them. Faith is created by the same writer and director who created “Eye of the Dawn” and “Sandglass“.
Lee Min Ho said,

“I was drawn into the script as soon as I read it. I got to page 6 without stopping. I think it’s time for an image change, and I think the armor looks really good on my body.”

A drama starring Lee Min Ho will undoubtedly become a huge success. Will you be watching Faith?
